Men's Nubuck Leather Waterproof Walking Boots

Sturdy shoes feel comfortable from the first time I put them on.
Extra pair of laces too.

Bought this after quite a bit of deliberating, as my last pair of boots were very comfortable but had reached the end of their life after only a few years.... They were Rockport boots and the sole just fell apart.These boots are not quite as comfortable as my old Rockport boots, but they aren't far off, plus unlike the Rockport's - these are waterproof with the tongue stitched right up to the top of the boot. Walking through puddles presents no problem (though I do have to worry about my jeans getting wet)... no water ingress through the stitching at all and I didn't put any dubbing on until the autumn.Had these boots now for just under a year and they are holding up pretty well (see second photo)... the soles have little wear and no sign of any stitching coming undone, and no peeling leather. I would very likely get another pair when these need replacing.

However, one of the insoles was missing.

I'm a big fan of NW Territory boots and recommend them to others. My first pair of Inuvik boots were comfortable straight out of the box and lasted me 10 years.
BUT... I have an issue with the Sachs boots. I bought 2 pairs in my usual size (black and brown) last autumn, just to wear as sturdy, smart boots and I love the look of them, but they feel at least a size tighter than the Inuvik design. I really struggle to get them on - with the original insoles, it's impossible. Unfortunately, I find myself avoiding wearing them. Why do size 11 Inuvik boots fit perfectly, with thick walking socks and the size 11 Sachs boots feel uncomfortable even with thin socks?

Very pleased with the style, fit and comfort of these boots.
Kept my feet dry during breaking-in in very wet conditions - big positive!
As a consequence bought a second pair.

After purchasing two pairs of supposed waterproof boots i purchased this pair of Sachs boots at last dry socks. This after walking a very disgruntled pug through some very wet Autumnal showers in south west no leakage. So from my Pug and me compliments on producing a quality product.

The previous pair lasted 6 years. These look even more solid and fit nicely too.

This is my third pair of waterproof footwear which are comfortable, good wearabilty and waterproof.
Always have a second pair available just in case they become discontinued.
Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent boot for dog walkers and workers who are out and about,comfortable and perfect fit will buy another pair in a different colour for alternative outfits,suitable and stylish enough to wear to pubs.

Quite stiff at first. They have softened a bit. If you're going to wear thick socks, go up a size. They do squeak, still....

Do the job nicely

These are pretty sturdy, with think, stiff leather uppers, and a sole that is reasonably chunky, but not quite in the military or hiking boot category.Better quality than a lot of big brand boots I've had over the years, and I'm sure the only reason these are cheaper is because they don't spend a metric ton on branding and marketing.I'm a wide UK 9.5, and 10 are bob on, with enough room for thicker socks.I like the insoles, unlike some others here, and they seem to be on a par with some of the lower-end sorbothane variants I've previously had.I've only had these a couple of weeks and have been breaking them in ahead of a city break next week - that will be the true test for these, but so far there's been no sign of the plantar fasciaitis that sometimes plagues me.I'm yet to try them in a downpour, but my intended use is as a daily winter boot, so I don't expect to be wading through streams in them. For longer walks and hikes I've got dedicated footwear, and can't imagine these would be particularly forgiving outside of 10k steps a day.It's worth mentioning that the padded ankle is also stiff, so at present I'm running these only laced to the second from top eyelet.Finally, my pair were very squeaky at first - I identified this as being due to the laces rubbing on the tongue. A bit of gwax/dubbin sorted that out.All in all I'm really happy with these , given how expensive good footwear has now become. I'd definitely consider buying again if these hold up well and continue to break in nicely.

Good product. Comfortable - 1st time put on worn for16 hours.

Had to return. Size 11 couldn’t get on my feet due to the design of the boot. Hopefully a 12 will be okay. Never needed a size 12 before

Previously purchase a pair of these one year ago for working in a light workshop environment. Fabulously comfy from day one, just that I totally abused and wore them out so now just purchase pair No. 2. Hope they NEVER discontinue this style.

Great boots. Like all boots of this type, easy to get dirty, but they seem to clean up and last well. Very comfy and reasonably light for a boot of this type. Was very surprised to find spare laces in the box, but had to use them within the first 2 weeks! The inside of the eyes are quite sharp and will just tear through the laces with the fancy way they arrive laced. Simple solution - Just re-lace them more traditionally when you get them. Worn for a few months since and no issue. Really nice all day boot. I would buy again, but it seems perhaps this style is no longer actively sold? Happy.

This is the second pair of footware that i've bought from Northwest Territory and so far they're excellent. They fit perfectly and felt like a worn pair of slippers they are that comfortable. I can't say about how waterproof they are as I haven't worn them in the rain yet, but if they're as good as the walking shoes I have then they'll be 100% the same, waterproof.
