I saw these at Mountain Warehouse, but wanted to go direct. These are nice boots and they seem great so far. Very sturdy and quality-made. I think they're made in the UK? Which is nice. I like to buy intentionally, and these feel like a good investment. Let's see how well they do over the years.

I needed a pair of walking boots to replace two pairs of Swiss boots that I had bought at nearly £200 per pair and which had to be returned because they were not waterproof. I stumbled across these online and thought I'd try them as a stop-gap until I found what I thought would be better, but they've turned out to be excellent! I tramp through wet and muddy fields with my dogs twice daily and after 6 months of constant use, these boots remain 100% waterproof, are warm and comfortable. When the boots get too mucky, I simply shower them with the hose, dry them off, and they're ready to wear again the following day. They are incredible value for money. I couldn't improve on them and highly recommend them.

I have had a problem with other brands in that the sole always seems far too thin, and stones and other stuff can be felt through the sole causing discomfort. These North West boots seem to be much better. I have purchased this brand in the past and had been happy, I just hope the quality and not declined. I shall soon find out.
I have bought many pairs of these boots over the years.
I use these for general outdoor work and walking in winter. They are very comfortable and waterproof and keep my feet warm in winter. I am size 8 and have confidence that every time I order a new pair they are a great fit.
My only criticism would be the laces. Please supply better quality. Providing a spare pair in the box is a hint to how long they last.
