At last back to the quality footwear Northwest Territory is famous for

Hopefully Northwest will now ditch the poor quality inferior Reliance trainer walking shoe- that simply was not fit for purpose.
Its great to have a real Northwest Territory walking shoe that does what it says it will and is comfortable to wear all day in all terrains

Problem

I bought these boots because of the good reviews. They are well made feel solid and very comfortable the only problem is that mine are not waterproof I was only walking on wet grass and ended up with soaking feet and what makes it worse is I emailed the customer care on the 1/12/25 it's now 5/1/26 and still no reply so it seems customer care is none existence so I have emailed again today and see if I get a reply back this time .

Perfect! Comfortable and look so smart too.

So comfortable even from the first wear! These fit EVER so slightly large, but are absolutely perfect when worn with some thick socks (a sensible move for this kind of footwear anyway).
These were a Christmas gift to myself and I am looking forward to a year of great walks in these! Oh, and the shoe box is also gorgeous and includes a care sheet on how to look after your boots AND a lovely dust bag to keep them in!

Not a flat toe seam.

Advertised as having a flat toe seam but they do not, It's not as thick as some but it is definitely not a flat seam!
Otherwise seem decent enough, if a touch overpriced, even at sales pricing, but bought primarily for the flat seam so somewhat disappointed.

Not had them long but very comfortable, good quality sturdy boots, only 1 small negative the website states all boots come with spares laces and a dust bag I have a dust bag but no laces otherwise very happy and would recommend this site if you're looking for good footwear and service!

Kept my feet dry during breaking-in in very wet conditions - big positive!

Bought these two months ago the only problem I have with these were the laces being too long, I got forever having to fastening double. Went out and bought corect size length laces (110cm) instead using the one's supplied (140cm) suggest company supplying corect size

FAULTY MATERIALS

I bought the Pelly boots after my previous Navik boots expired after a couple of years' dog walking.
I thought that the reinforced welting band was a plus point, it turned out to be its weakness.
After less than 2 months of wear the welting has split on both boots on each side, allowing the ingress of water into what was otherwise a decent boot. This after a short period of gentle daily dog walks (October to mid December in the UK), On the plus side, the soles are hard-wearing and show little signs of use.
I couldn't recommend them for 'proper' hill walking or mountaineering.
