Good for money paid

My old boots made by a high profile competitor were beyond repair. I needed relatively low cost, waterproof and sturdy replacements. I’m 15 miles in having worn them in all conditions this wet February and yes, needed a little wearing in but not to the point of pain and blisters. Great boots for the price. Planning 1000 miles in them this year - see how they last…

Look nice but very uncomfortable around the back of your ankle and caused blisters after only an hour, will not wear them again, very disappointed

Great Rugged Shoe

A very sturdy Shoe. Glad I took notice of other reviews and ordered one size larger than I normally wear to get a great fit. Nice wide fitting too.

Teslin boots

Great looking boots that I have found need a little breaking in but are generally comfortable. They seem a little narrower across the toes than my pair of Inuvik boots and both have laces that could be a little shorter. The Customer Service department were very helpful prior to my getting these boots.

They are real leather!! Just breaking them in, but so far so good. As they advise, treat them before your first walk!! . Really comfortable boots, and sizing is perfect

Teslin Boot Review

I've had a pair of Northwest's Inuvik boots for about ten years now and they still waterproof arfter having done about 2,000 miles in that time. The leather is starting to split inthe most flexed places but they are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. the only thing letting them down now is that the soles are becoming rather slim and worn making them less sure footed in snow, ice and muddy conditions.

Based on the above I've bought a pair of the Teslin boots that provide a deep grip sole and more ankle support. They have loads of room inside for my wide but thin feet, but can be adjusted with lace eye layout to secure the foot and prevent slippage when walking, even with thin socks on. I have used them once for a walk of about four miles with ski socks on and can say that they will require minimal breaking in to accommodate the shape of my feet. Only down side that I can find that is no fault of the boots, but my flat feet, and I will have to buy some insoles to provide better support to the instep, sole and heel of my feet. I'm sure that if a keep them maintained with generous applications of saddle soap they will give me many years of valuable service.

Comfortable to wear so far, definitely helps when it comes standing for long hours.

Exactly as described + very swift service

As a novice walker, I didn't want to spend too much on my first walking shoes/boots, was searching for a waterproofed, very light and comfortable. Ordered on 29/1(Thursday), received the following day (30/1 Friday), found a little tight with thick socks (misjudged? should've measured at around 2pm when feet are most swollen?)
Having taken them to a post office for exchange (one size up) on 31/1(Saturday but not collected by Royal Mail till Monday) and received a new pair on 6/2(Friday). What a swift service.
Walking around in them inside the house for a while just in case, not at all nasty rubbing, but really light, comfortable, very good fit indeed, so very happy end. (bought KEELEE-HI waterproof walking boots - black & lime.)
