New Trek walking boots.

I love my new Trek walking boots. These are my go to boots as they are so comfy you barely know that you are wearing them. These are only my second pair as the previous pair lasted so long! I also like the choice of colours.

This is my eighth pair! I love them.

I currently have these boots in red, purple, hot pink and navy, previously in forest green, wish that colour was available now. I do cut off the tab at the ankle though, as it serves no purpose and rubs my heel. I wanted to add sky blue to my collection but size 7 turned out to be size 40 not 41 hence 4 instead of 5 stars. I will order a larger size when back in stock. Delivery was really quick. A happy customer.

Great boots!

Just received my third pair (over many years) of Northwest Territory boots and as always I find them very comfortable. The colours available suit all tastes. Great value for money and very speedy delivery much appreciated.

These boots were made for...everyone/everyday/everywhere!

What's not to love about these boots? First off, dispatch and delivery were very quick. The boots are generously sized and have a great roomy frontal area. A must for those who have broad feet (like me). The boot is very well constructed and beautifully lightweight. Don't let this put you off! They are ideal for out and about and long walks. They look great with jeans. I decided to try something that I'd never done before and wore these for a full day, straight out of the box. Other shoes/boots would have a tendency to rub or irritate, not these. Was delighted at the comfort. Leather, breathable and a fabulous price! What's not to love?

5 stars for being fit-for-purpose.

Right out of the box review:Overall it's comfortable, but I found ankle support only possible if you lace up tight. This might be a sizing issue though. However, if you do that you get a little chafing, but I'll just buy higher socks to remedy that. It's pretty lightweight, haven't tested for waterproofing yet. Loving the color and style.UPDATE: See images for condition 3 years later. Still going strong, I'd say, but I haven't used them for hardcore hiking, just daily use really. I'd still give it 5 stars for being fit-for-(my) purpose and colour and style.

Daughter love the boot!!!

I initially gave the shoe a one star due to my daughter stating that she could not wear them. I am amending the one star to a four-star because she never tried the boot on, she just looked and thought the boat was too small. She finally tried the boot on with thick socks and she said it fit perfectly. She is going on a hiking- camping trip this weekend so the ultimate test will be done and I will revise if necessary To a possible five star if she experienced no problems.

Dainty and neat looking for a ladies walking boot.

Only just purchased these boots, they arrived the next day - perfect, delivery for next day was cheaper than standard which would have taken two days? No complaints there! I usually have problems with my walking boots, I am a 7.5 or 41 European which used to be the equivalent of a 7.5, so finding a perfect fit has been hard, however as soon as I tried these walking boots on I new they were going to be a perfect fit, I can even wear a nice thick walking sock with them as they are a generous size, however they do not look clumpy compared to other walking boots. The other thing I like is that they are made of leather and state they are waterproof, a great bonus. I wore them the same day as they arrived and they were truly comfortable for a 3 mike walk. I am about to test them tomorrow probably in more damp conditions and a much longer walk, so I can't comment on the longevity or the waterproofing. I usually always buy a boot with a VibrAm sole but these boots look like they have a durable sole, only time will tell. Overall all I am thoroughly pleased with the fit and look and I am looking forward to using them for a long time. Well done North West for a good design.

Good value waterproof boots

I ordered these in a red size six and find them slightly large unless I wear thick walking socks. I am a very bog-standard size six so let's assume that the manufacturer has kindly left us a little extra room for big winter socks...As these also come in pink, I fail to understand how the red can possibly be marketed as "red". Can the pink be pinker than this?! I find them a somewhat repellent and entirely too girly raspberry and have deducted a star accordingly. I was going to send them back on this basis, but Saturday came along with the drizzle and I decided to forego my dignity in the interest of dry feet and wore them for a 10 mile hike over a period of a few hours. Paired with my new 1000 Mile 3 Season socks, I did indeed end the walk with warm and dry feet and only one small but insignificant new blister on the bottom of my foot. (For which I blame the boots, not the socks.) They remained reasonably comfortable for new boots and my feet stayed dry even though I was splashing around in puddles like a small child in the hope that I could send them back for letting in water and buy a different pair which don't offend my sense of style quite so terribly. Unfortunately, I can't complain about one small blister after such a long walk whilst breaking them in and sadly, no amount of mud has done anything to dim the colour. In all, excellent value for money, but entirely more raspberry than red. Because I'm a skinflint, I continue to wear them to walk the dog, who doesn't seem to mind.

Fabulous bit of kit.

Purchased these for my first hiking trip in the Scottish mountains. Saw me nicely to the top of Ben Macdui and Cairn Gorm after a wear-in session through Glenmore Forest Park. Found these to be comfortable on the second day of my trip, and handled path, boulders, and some light scrambling to the top of my chosen peaks. Downhill was a bit trickier, with gravel occasionally moving underfoot, however this was likely also down to technique. Good grip otherwise, including in rain. Are they waterproof? Absolutely. Hope to get many miles out of these.

Not just for the ladies! Decent walking boots for guys too (if your feet aren't big!)

Comfortable from the first wearing, still comfortable after a 5 mile trek, still comfortable after all-day wearing.Gripping well on all surfaces so far and resisting the wet, though not been severly tested in soaking conditions yet.One month in and still looking good as new and already plenty of miles on the clock.Hard to guess long term durability, but certainly so far so good.
